a late summer bloom
last night i was heading out to dinner with the toronto lampworkers group. food and talking about glass? i am so there! as i was rushing out the door i glanced at the hall mirror – ARGH! i was jewel-less!!! I always do that, forget to wear jewelry. not a good thing when you’re a jewelry designer. and all my inventory is packed for the next show. what’s a girl to do? why, make a quick necklace! as i glanced around my bench in a panic for a necklace (and keep in mind, i’m off to dinner with lampworkers, i cannot wear a simple pendant), i found yesterdays bead stash. there in a pile of their own making was a combination that is to die for. i am so in love with this colour combination. oh i am so making more of this.
