a whiff of spring
in between the fish counter and the butcher, on my way to the eggs, on a cold and grey day i was halted in my tracks by the smell of spring. the aroma of daisies, chrysanthemums, tulips and freesia created an oasis in the middle of the supermarket. a wave of scent rolled over the grocery aisles and brought smiles to all.
