Yay! I’m on a roll!!! After my jewelry challenge I’m moving onto a photography challenge. I really like taking photos, I carry my camera and my iPhone with me all the time. Yet I think my shots could be better. I’d like to move from being a quick snap photographer to taking really good shots. So I’ve signed up for a 6 week online class. The class isn’t about the technical aspects (all those f-stops and apertures, huh?), it’s about seeing the world around you and translating it into your photos.
I want to tell stories through pictures. So here we go again.
This challenge coincides with my being on vacation, although the first month of this trip involves working on the boat. My cameras are simple. I have my iPhone 4 and my Sony Cybershot point and shoot. Nothing fancy. My computer is a small netbook so I don’t have Photoshop for any editing. This will be using what I have at the time. If we wait until we have all the time in the world, and the perfect tools, then nothing would ever get done.
I’ll be posting a photo a day for the next 6 weeks. These can be seen over on my Flick site and on Facebook. Come and see what I’m up to.
