I took the day off!!! Completely!!! No work at all!!! This was momentous as I’m currently in a panic to get all my Christmas work done before I go on vacation to Paris. Yes you heard it correctly, it’s the beginning of September and I’m almost ready for Christmas!!! But yesterday, on Labour Day I decided than I seriously needed a break. So to celebrate Labour day I was labour free. 

There was morning coffee beside the roses. And then I just sat there reading, listening to the birds chirping, not seeing any birds thanks to my feral cat population but at least I could hear them. And I smelt the roses. Especially the Apricot Nectar, this rose is a stunner, SO fragrant. 

Life can’t be all work, you do have to stop and smell the roses. Literally. They are spectacular.
