Well I’ll skip the bears thanks and stick with the lions and tigers. And you can add in a cheetah and a leopard. I admit it, I am fond of the felines. I think large wild cats are the most magnificent creatures on the planet, so on a recent trip to the zoo we spent a long time watching the lions and tigers. They watched us. So that’s what prey feels like.
The day in the zoo lead to these (eye candy and educational content following):
From my new Safari collection, a tiger pendant and earrings. Did you know that the pattern of stripes on a tiger is unique to each animal, and thus could potentially be used to identify individuals, much in the same way that fingerprints are used to identify people.
And there’s the cheetah. Lean, lithe and pure power. The cheetah is the fastest land animal, reaching speeds between 112 and 120 km/h (70 and 75 mph) in short bursts covering distances up to 460 m (1,510 ft), and has the ability to accelerate from 0 to 103 km/h (64 mph) in three seconds.
Heeere kitty kitty kitty! What a fabulous video! and I LOVE the jewelry!
