love love love these mini gourds, especially the one that looks like a mutant rocketship with acne. scattered around the dining table they just amuse me. and that is part of the point of a large thanksgiving dinner, amusement. this years dinner was colour coordinated for my new white dinner plates: roasted beets, sweet potatoes, green beans, asparagus, scalloped potatoes, turkey, gravy, cranberry sauce, it was mighty pretty. food is so much better when it’s pretty. the colours would make a fine necklace.
