I call this one the Snow Queen. This bead disappeared in the fall under the impending deadlines of the One of a Kind show and Christmas. Those combined with a huge stash of excellent tea (caffeinated) and my natural hyperness meant that I was pumping out massive quantities of beads. Hot and fast. That’s the way I work. This was very unfortunate for the snow queen which needs cool and calm. Meaning slow. I don’t do slow. For the life of me I couldn’t turn the flame down cool enough to make this without frying the heck out of it. Bet you didn’t know you can burn glass, oh boy, can I burn glass. Now that I’ve no major deadlines and I’ve cut back on the caffeine there’s a few other colours I can revisit. Ahhhh…. breathe…. slow….. calm….
