was it the best thing to leave the dock at 2 pm knowing we had a 6 hour sail ahead of us? well, know. you’re not supposed to arrive at your anchorage after dark, navigating channels in the dark isn’t the easiest. but what the heck, we want to get going!!! now!!! and we know the anchorage we’re heading to. so instead of having the hook down by sunset we watched the sun go down as we glided on the open water. all i can say is ahhhhhhhh…. it’s been too long. we made it to the anchorage just after dusk, put the hook down, and watched the stars come out. all in all, it is good to be on the water.
