My favourite happy word? “Wahoo!” My grandma used to say it when she was watching her beloved Blue Jays score runs…and to this day it reminds me of her unfettered delight of baseball. It’s a great all-purpose fun word you can say quietly under your breath or shout from the rooftops with equal effect. “Wahoo!”

I light up with the word joy because that’s my middle name.

BINGO! I don’t play bingo but it’s a great word to yell when things are working out perfectly. And if I win this Zoe pendant – BINGO! I am giving it to my bestie Tracy M. That’s so her!

  9. Donnalu says:

Peace is my favourite happy word (I contemplated chocolate but decided that might not meet the criteria). It’s not a typical happy word but since I tend to be a quieter more reserved person, being at peace IS my happy place. Ergo, my fav happy word.

My happy word(s) – folks know I am happy when I say I am “happy happy” – or “ecstatic” but I use happy happy a lot more often than I am ecstatic – that word just doesn’t roll off the tongue as nicely.

  19. Jennifer Daly says:

My favourite happy word is “effervescent” – is it not a fun word to say aloud? :)
