56 pesos is US $2.80. Prices are good.
After shopping, I indulged in an ice cream cone and blew the budget, it was 1 peso. (that is 5 cents, yeah, I really know how to live!)
A little later on, we picked up a couple of cold beers at the store, 75 cents each (it was an expensive store). The final shopping of the day was a 750 ml bottle of white rum, $3.00.
We are within our budget.
